What are the Colts' Christmas wishes?

No need to check the list twice, Santa Claus. Here's what the Colts would like under their Christmas trees on Thursday.

Let’s consider the Indianapolis Colts’ Christmas wish list.

No more turnovers or penalties. Better protection for quarterback Andrew Luck. Every pass sticks in the pass catchers’ hands. On defense, a lot of sacks. Throw in a few forced fumbles and interceptions. Definitely eliminate missed tackles or assignments. A blank injury report.

And, if Santa Claus could swing it, how about a few quality NFL wins beginning in January?

Coach Chuck Pagano would be good with all of that.

Oh, and about that run game. OK, OK. Santa is versatile, but that doesn't make him a miracle worker.

While they've had their struggles against quality opponents, the Colts (10-5) haven't had an awful year -- just look at Sunday's opponent, the Tennessee Titans (2-13).

As the final regular-season game approaches, tis the season for gifts and sharing. Colts players played along when asked Tuesday for their Christmas wishes.

Here’s what defensive end Cory Redding, long snapper Matt Overton, tight end Coby Fleener, outside linebacker Erik Walden, defensive tackle Ricky Jean Francois and quarterback Matt Hasselbeck had to say.

Merry Christmas, Colts fans.
