The Indianapolis Colts’ eight-week offseason workout routine begins Monday, April 18, and culminates with mini-camp June 7-9.
Players participate in offseason training activities at the team complex, which aren’t open to the public. Unlike in past years, no public practice at Lucas Oil Stadium has been scheduled.
Rookie mini-camp will be May 6-8.
The NFL Draft will be April 28-30. The Colts have six selections, beginning in the first round with the 18th overall pick. It’s just the second time since 2002 that the Colts will have a pick inside the top 20. The last time was when they selected quarterback Andrew Luck No. 1 overall in 2012. Before that, defensive end Dwight Freeney was chosen with the 11th overall pick in 2002.
The other selections are in the second round (48th overall), third round (82nd overall), fourth round (116th overall), fifth round (155th overall) and seventh round (239th overall).
Their sixth-round pick was traded to Oakland to acquire linebacker Sio Moore before the start of the 2015 season.
The draft will be in Chicago, beginning in primetime at 8 p.m. on April 28. Second and third rounds will begin at 7 p.m. on April 29 with the last four rounds starting at noon on April 30.
