The Indianapolis Colts’ summer tour includes another open minicamp practice at Lucas Oil Stadium, the team announced Thursday.
The public workout during minicamp will be June 8 at Lucas Oil Stadium. The 2-10 p.m. event is being promoted as a movie night with a showing of “The LEGO Movie.”
The team’s summer tour will take players and cheerleaders around the Hoosier State to Waldron, Monticello, Jasper, Louisville and Fort Wayne.
“Our summer events around Indiana and Louisville have become a signature part of our organization over the past thirteen years,” said Pete Ward, Indianapolis Colts COO. “We have passionate fans throughout this region, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to thank them for their support every year at these tour stops.”
The tour begins at 5:30 p.m. May 20 with the “Colts at Bat with the Louisville Bats” at Louisville Slugger Field. Autographs are from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m.
The next stop is from 5 to 7 p.m. on May 26 at Waldron Elementary School. Monticello will host a Colts Fan Fest from 5 to 7 p.m. at Constitution Plaza, 110 N. Main St. The tour concludes with another Colts Fan Fest from 5 to 7 p.m. on June 9 at the Jasper Train Depot, 201 Mill St.
The Colts encourage fans to arrive early at summer events. The line for player and cheerleader autographs may be cut off at any time to ensure the tour remains on schedule. Inclement weather or traffic may cause for late arrival or early departure. All events will take place rain or shine. Fans will be allowed one autograph per person; however, fans may get back in line for additional autographs. Player names for each event will be announced in May, but are subject to change.
