Andrew Luck Creates Book Club

Quarterback's website will offer book suggestions online.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck on Monday launched an online book club for all ages.

The Andrew Luck Book Club will live on the website www.AndrewLuckBookClub.com, where the three-time Pro Bowl star will post two new book suggestions periodically.

One suggestion will be for “rookies,” books Luck enjoyed when he was younger. The second book reference for “veteran” readers will be what he’s reading currently.

Although Luck doesn’t have a personal Twitter account, he will use social media to engage with people to talk about the books and host live question-and-answer sessions to speak with readers. The first Q&A dates will be posted on the website at a later time.

The book club can be followed on Twitter and Instagram @ALBookClub or visit Facebook at www.Facebook.com/AndrewLuckBookClub.

“I have always loved to read and have my parents and grandparents to thank for introducing me to the enjoyment of reading at a young age,” Luck said in a Colts release. “People ask me all the time what I’m reading or if I have any suggestions of what they should read. And, when the topic of starting a book club came up over and over again, I figured it was time to put something together. I'm really excited to see this get off the ground and I’m looking forward to building a community of readers online and through social media.”

The book club’s mission is to build a forum online where people can learn about new books, get excited about reading and build a community of readers through the website and social media channels.
