Colts Signing And Taking Selfies

Fans line Lucas Oil Stadium stands before Wednesday's public mini-camp practice to get Colts autographs and a few selfie pictures.

Indianapolis Colts fans arrived early in anticipation of getting a few autographs and taking some selfie pictures with players before Wednesday's public mini-camp practice.

Because Colts practices are usually closed, this was a rare up-close interaction with the team.

Aside from fans having their cell phones ready for quickie selfies -- quarterback Andrew Luck took his share of those -- credit some other fans for creativity as they threw footballs from a distance to outside linebacker Robert Mathis, who signed them and tossed them back into the stands.

The next chance fans will have is July 26, when the Colts report to Anderson University for training camp. The afternoon camp practices offer daily opportunities for autographs and selfies.

The Colts begin the preseason against the Green Bay Packers on Aug. 7 in the Hall of Fame Game at Canton, Ohio.
