Both of the Colts' fifth-rounders signed their deals Tuesday night, allowing both to report to Terre Haute with the team when they open their 2005 camp today. Hagler, the linebacker out of the University of Cincinnati, is recovering from a sports hernia injury that is making his ability to do much more than observe and learn during training camp highly unlikely. Hunt is projected to work as center Jeff Saturday's backup. He had vowed not to be a training camp holdout and held true to his word by signing last night.
The only details available for either player's contract so far is that Hagler's deal is reportedly for a 3-year term.
As the Colts report to training camp, only 2nd-round pick CB Kelving Hayden and 7th-round pick Anthony Davis are unsigned. They are not permitted to attend camp without a contract finalized.
