Breaking news on an opportunity for a former Colt in "The Buzz" -- a Premium Members feature!

ColtPower has learned from one of our sources that former Colt Trevor Hutton was one of six offensive linemen to get a tryout with the Atlanta Falcons on Friday.

The sudden interest in adding a lineman is a bit of a surprise since Atlanta only has one lineman injured, right tackle Todd Weiner, who was listed as probable on their injury report this week.

Nonetheless, Hutton worked out for the Falcons along with tackles Dante Ellington (Eagles) and Shaun Rose (Raiders), guards Jim Jones (Steelers) and Joe Tate (Jaguars), and center Shawn Lynch (Dolphins). There's been no confirmation yet of a contract offer to any of them following the workout.

Hutton was on the Colts practice squad at the beginning of this season, but was released on September 13th. He made four game appearances for the Colts during the 2004 season.
