Offensive lineman Joaquin Gonzalez was diagnosed with a high ankle sprain following Sunday's game against Houston and has been placed on injured reserve. Gonzalez hurt his ankle during special teams duty and will be lost for the year.
The Colts added a former practice squad member, offensive lineman Kurt Vollers, to their 53-man roster. Vollers has spent the last three seasons with the Cowboys, starting 12 of 28 games. ColtPower previously reported that he had a tryout with the Colts back on October 27th.
Using the open spot on the practice squad that was made available by offensive lineman Matt Ulrich's promotion last week, the Colts have re-signed Clint Stickdorn. The 6'5 307-pound offensive lineman out of the University of Cincinnati was signed to the practice squad back on September 9th, but was released on the 13th when the Colts activated safety Mike Doss. His return triggered the release of Ulrich, who took Stickdorn's spot on the practice squad. Stickdorn was an undrafted free agent who was released from the Cleveland Browns during their preseason cuts.
