Thursday Post-Practice Injury Report

Nick Harper's return to practice was the highlight of Thursday's practice report...

After missing last week's game with a groin injury, cornerback Nick Harper returned to practice on Thursday for the Colts. While rookie Marlin Jackson filled in capably for Harper against the Titans last weekend, having both on the field when five defensive backs are advantageous is a big plus for the Colts as they head to Jacksonville.

Colts safety Joseph Jefferson, who had already been ruled out for this weekend, will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery and has been placed on injured reserve, ending his season.

New to the report is DT Montae Reagor with an ankle injury, but he did practice on Thursday.

The big news out of Jacksonville is that starting center Brad Meester was moved from doubtful to out as he will have surgery on a torn biceps muscle. Cornerback Rashean Mathis (broken finger) didn't get a full practice in today but is still expected to play against the Colts.
