ColtPower has learned from one of our sources that Indianapolis has released offensive lineman Joaquin Gonzalez.
He was signed to a 3-year deal last year after playing for the Cleveland Browns. Gonzalez was due to earn base salaries of $545,000 in both 2006 and 2007 with the Colts.
Gonzalez saw action in just five games in his only season with the Colts. He suffered a high ankle sprain during Week 10 action and landed on injured reserve on November 16th.
