The 49ers signed former Colts and Redskins CB Walt Harris to a two-year deal.
The Tennessee Titans have announced the team has agreed to terms on a multi-year contract with S Chris Hope (Steelers). Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Following the signing of Colts OLB David Thornton, Titans LB Peter Sirmon has asked the team to release him from his contract according to a report in the Nashville City Paper.
The Jaguars are rumored to be in the mix for former Redskins LB LaVar Arrington according to Adam Schefter at NFL.com. Other suitors reportedly include the Giants, Dolphins, Eagles and Bengals.
The Saints released QB Aaron Brooks.
The Ravens released LB Peter Boulware.
Joey Harrington could be the next quarterback released. After signing Jon Kitna, the Lions are continuing to pursue Josh McCown (Cardinals) and reportedly inquired about the Redskins' Patrick Ramsey.
The Denver Broncos have signed middle linebacker Nate Webster to a two-year deal. Webster, a five year veteran who comes from the Cincinnati Bengals will receive a $200,000 signing bonus. He is scheduled to get salaries of $585,000 in 2006 and $710,000 in 2007.
The Buffalo Bills re-signed long-snapper Mike Schneck.
DE/OLB Willie McGinest (Patriots) has agreed to terms with the Cleveland Browns.
Mike Sando of the Tacoma News Tribune is reporting that the Seahawks are planning to meet with 49ers LB Julian Peterson for a free-agent visit in the coming days.
The Chiefs re-signed DE Carlos Hall to a one-year deal on Wednesday.

The San Francisco Chronicle is reporting that the Raiders had considered signing former Vikings guard Toniu Fonoti following his visit on Tuesday. But today, he failed his physical. His weight has approached 400 pounds. Fonoti finished last season on injured reserve because of a groin injury.

The Buffalo News is reporting that the Jaguars signed OT Mike Williams to a two-year contract worth $5 million, including a $2 million signing bonus.
ESPN.com reports that the Jaguars have signed former Dolphins OT Stockar McDougle to a two-year contract worth $1.605 million.
Sources tell our Cowboys affiliate, TheRanchReport.com, that former Eagles WR Terrell Owens won't even blink at a deal that involves less than $15-20 million in guaranteed money.
