Friday and Sunday NFL Network Colts Features

The NFL Network is featuring three shows beginning on Friday that Colts fans won't want to miss! Enjoy a great blend of Colts history, Colts fantasy, and a recent game of the week over the next three days!

Colts fans, on Friday, June 2nd, two great Colts features will highlight the NFL Network's lineup. You may have to record some of them to catch all three, but here's the Colts fun that you can enjoy!

On Friday at 1:00 p.m. (ET), the NFL Network's Film Session will take a look at Super Bowl III between the New York Jets and the Baltimore Colts. The stunning upset by the Jets helped give credibility to the AFL, helping lead to the eventual merger that brought us the league as we know it today. The Jets were 16-point underdogs, but Joe Namath led New York to a 16-7 victory. While it's painful to watch any Colts loss, don't miss this half-hour show that will highlight one of the Colts' two Super Bowl appearances to date.

Then at 2:00 p.m. (ET), prepare yourself for a classic "what if" battle as the network's Film Session uses archived footage of the Colts and the Jets to pit Joe Namath against Johnny Unitas for a full 60 minutes, instead of just a portion of the second half as occurred in the actual game. It's a fantasy rematch of the big game with a unique twist.

On Sunday at 2:00 a.m. (ET) you'll be able to enjoy watching Colts quarterback Peyton Manning throw for 324 yards and two touchdowns as the NFL Network replays their Game of the Week of Indianapolis' December 11th, 2005 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The victory at Alltel Stadium allowed the Colts to clinch home-field advantage for the 2005 playoffs.
