Wednesday Morning Camp Insider Report

The top five plays of the morning session are described exclusively for our ColtPower Insiders. Some of the names that are jumping out in our early reports are quite interesting, such as undrafted rookie linebacker Brandon Hoyte.

There were five plays that really stood out from this morning's practice, one of which was a scary one. Safety Chris Laskowski and tight end Ben Utecht almost had a head-to-head collision on a pass across the middle by Manning. Fortunately, both players appeared to be fine after the play.

Dominic Rhodes looked strong during a short-yardage goal-line run, bullying his way through a couple would-be tacklers to get into the end zone.

Cornerback Marlin Jackson put a solid hit on wide receiver Terrence Wilkins during a passing drill. Jackson also made a great move that almost resulted in an interception of a Manning pass during the same drill.

Former Notre Dame linebacker Brandon Hoyte continues to impress, intercepting a Shaun King pass in the end zone during a goal-line pass drill.

Starting tight end Dallas Clark made a really nice diving catch of a Manning pass after running an out pattern.
