Not only does he have to find his new kickoff and punt returns specialists, he also has to cultivate more top talent for his coverage units. His two top tacklers were Robert Mathis, who won't be playing special teams after being promoted to a starter's role on the defensive line, and safety Gerome Sapp who was traded to Baltimore.

- Second-round pick Tim Jennings is rooming with
Joseph Addai during camp and he says he's faster than Addai. "He's got a
burst, but how much farther can you go," he said.
Michael Marot of the Associated Press reports that ....
- Kicker Adam Vinatieri is excited about his new start in Indianapolis. "I've watched their offense and seen how much they've scored. It's going to be nice to be a part of it," Vinatieri said. "Hopefully, we'll make some history."
