Friday's injury report by the Colts seems to indicate that safety Bob Sanders, LB Keith O'Neil, and WR Brandon Stokely will miss yet another week of action. None of the three have been able to participate in a full practice all week, nor has strongside linebacker Gilbert Gardner who has a rib injury. If he can't start, it'll be either rookie Freddie Keiaho or Rocky Boiman lining up at his spot on Sunday night.
A bright spot on the Colts report was the return of reserve safety Matt Giordano to the practice field. With the Colts thin on depth there to the point where they worked out a couple of safeties this week, Giordano's return to both the depth chart and special teams will be helpful.
Cornerback Nick Harper (hip) missed Friday's practice after getting in a full workout on Thursday. He's day-to-day, and if he can't go, second-year player Kelvin Hayden could be asked to step in since the Colts have Marlin Jackson playing safety in the absence of Bob Sanders and Mike Doss.
Middle linebacker Gary Brackett finished his third day of practice, so the Colts should get their defensive captain back on the field this weekend against the Eagles.
While defensive end Dwight Freeney has been listed as questionable due to a shoulder problem the past two days, he's expected to play against Philadelphia.
Two new additions to the Colts' report were WR Aaron Moorehead (knee) and TE Jerome Collins (groin), both listed as questionable even though they practiced Friday.
The Eagles have declared LB Shawn Barber out for this contest after having him listed as doubtful earlier this week. Two players missed practice on Friday for the second time this week -- CB James Williams and LB Jason Short. Both are listed as questionable for the game.
