Tyjuan Hagler: Yeah, there's been a lot of improvement, although we are missing a lot of good guys who are down with injuries. But I think it kind of pans out. When a good guy goes down, there's another good guy ready to step in, so I think the coaches and the staff did a great job with deciding who they wanted to step in. So I don't think we've lost a beat at all.
ET: You guys got Gary Brackett back last week for your linebacker corps…how big of a plus was that?
TH: That's a big plus because Gary's our leader out there on defense. He's a guy who you'll never hear complain and just goes out on the field and works hard. Every time Gary's on the field everything's going to be fine.
ET: What can you tell us about Darrell Reid and why he's having so much success out there on special teams?
TH: Darrell is a guy who is full of energy all the time. He's always talking and he's going to be the first one to the tackle. Darrell brings a lot of spirit and energy to the special teams so it's fun being out there and playing with him. It's his attitude that makes him so good on special teams and defense.
ET: You guys are up against the Titans this weekend, and Pacman Jones seems to be coming alive a little bit with his play making ablility. Hw big of a challenge is he going to present for you guys?
TH: He's going to be a big challenge. Pacman Jones is an elusive guy, he can break one at any moment. We just need to play like we played Sunday night, go out there and run down the field hard. He swings the ball around a lot, so if you get a chance you can take a swing at that ball.
ET: Have you been surprised at all by the recent success of the Titans?
TH: It hasn't been a surprise because I see a lot of talent on that team. They made a lot of moves to get a lot of people on that team during the offseason so it doesn't surprise me at all. I've always said they're better than what their record.
ET: How big of a challenge does a dangerous, mobile quarterback, like Vince Young, present for the linebacker corps?
TH: I don't think it's a big difference because when you have a mobile quarterback, sometimes you hesitate in your pass drop. That's when it comes to us being disciplined and doing our job -- and we rally when the quarterback's running the ball. I don't think we're going to game-plan for it very much, we're just going to keep doing what we're doing.
ET: Do you think your style of defense protects well against a mobile quarterback because of they way you guys try to keep everything in front of you?
TH: Oh yeah, I think it definitely does.
ET: What else can I share with the fans...are you feeling good?
TH: I'm feeling great. I'm feeling more comfortable, and sooner or later they're going to put me out there on defense. Tell them to be patient, but Tyjuan Hagler will definitely be out there someway, somehow.
