Player of the Game: Linebacker Gary Brackett who finished the
day with 9 tackles (7 solo), a forced fumble, a pass defensed and an
interception that he returned 26 yards. Brackett's third-quarter interception
was timely as the Colts had a 14-point lead, but the Texans had pushed the ball
all the way to the Indy 18-yard line. After the turnover, the Colts kicked a
field goal to widen their lead to 17 instead of seeing it shrink. Brackett's
nine tackles included five against the run which included three for a gain of 1
yard or less and none longer than 5 yards. His four tackles after passes
all resulted in gains of 8 yards or less.
