Chargers Head Coach Norv Turner:
How difficult is it to beat any team twice, especially a team like Indianapolis?
"Well, I'll answer it the same way I did last week. When we played Tennessee a month ago, I just don't know if it matters. This is a whole new scenario because of being in the playoffs and the importance of that game. I know it's a challenge.
Because of what's happened in the league, people have kind of forgotten that Indianapolis won the Super Bowl last year. They were the best team in the league last year and they were about four minutes away from beating who everyone perceives as the best team in the league this year.
We've got our work cut out for us. They're first in the league in scoring defense. They're fifth in total offense. They've got great weapons on offense. They've got a great quarterback. Obviously we're going to have to go in and handle the crowd noise. As intense as [the Tennessee] game was, it's another step. This game is going to be even that much more."
You've seen many great offenses. How great is this one?
"There have been some teams that have great years. There have been some teams that offensively have had a couple of great years. Now there's a team that every-single-year, for the last eight or night years, they're in first or second in the league in points scored, yardage, passing and they win twelve games every year. So this is probably as good as has played."
Does the recent success of the team against the Colts bare any impact on the upcoming game?
"I think we're both really different teams. I think we're a different team than when we played them, however long ago it was, eight weeks ago. I just think it's a new game and it's a new match-up. Guys I think are going into the game with confidence, but there's a great respect too. We know what the challenge is."
