Parcells to Open Against Vick

The NFL announced Monday that the Dallas Cowboys and new head coach Bill Parcells will open up the 2003 regular season against Mike Vick the Atlanta Falcons at Texas Stadium on September 7th. The game, which will kickoff at 4:15, will be nationally televised by FOX.

The game was one of four nationally televised games announced by the NFL during the first weekend of the 2003 regular season.

Two of the other games that weekend will feature a rematch of the conference championship games played earlier this year.

ESPN will televise the Oakland Raiders rematch against the Tennessee Titans in primetime on September 7th on ESPN.

And the first Monday night game of the year will feature the Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers will open September 8th against the Eagles in Philadelphia's new Lincoln Financial Field.

The Jets and Redskins will open the regular season the previous Thursday, September 4th in primetime on ABC.
