He intercepted his first career pass in the third quarter, one that he returned 31 yards for a touchdown - his first career touchdown.
He then added his second career interception
in overtime that set up Dallas' game winning field goal. Lee's two picks
marked the first time a Dallas Cowboy had multiple interceptions in a
game since Terence Newman had two against the N.Y. Giants (12/14/08).
He became the 11th Dallas rookie with two interceptions in a game, first
since Terence Newman had three at Washington (12/14/03) and the 10th
Dallas rookie with an interception return for a touchdown. Lee also
added a career-best nine tackles and two pass breakups.
This is his first award and the third NFC Defensive Player of the Week
awarded to a Cowboy this season - DeMarcus Ware, Week Three and Bryan
McCann, Week Ten.
