Wednesday Roster Moves

The Dallas Cowboys placed wide receiver Kevin Ogletree on Injured/Reserve today with a right toe injury.

Ogletree appeared in six games this season, where he recorded three catches for 34 yards and six kickoff returns for 109 yards.

The club also signed wide receiver Manuel Johnson off of their practice squad to the active roster.

Johnson was drafted in the seventh round (229th overall) of the 2009 NFL Draft by Dallas out of Oklahoma. He spent all of his rookie year and the beginning of this season on the club's practice squad. In preseason action he tied for fourth on the team with eight receptions for 78 yards while adding one kickoff return for 33 yards.

The team also signed wide receiver Troy Bergeron to their practice squad.

Bergeron left Middle Tennessee State after redshirting one season to join the Columbus Wardogs of af2 in 2004. He signed with the Georgia Force of the AFL in 2005, where he was named the AFL Rookie of the Year. In 2006, Bergeron signed with the Atlanta Falcons on May 5 as a free agent but was released at the end of training camp before signing with the Buffalo Bills on December 12 for two months. He re-joined the Force for the 2007-2008 seasons and was a second-team All-Arena selection in 2007. In his three seasons with the Force, he recorded 328 receptions for 4,335 yards and 96 touchdowns while adding 1,416 kickoff return yards.

Bergeron was re-signed by Atlanta on May 10, 2009 and spent the entire season bouncing from their practice squad to the active roster. He was released by the Falcons on September 5, 2010 following training camp.
