Cowboys Podcast: Four Upcoming Camp Battles

The offseason is nearing its conclusion with minicamp continuing today at ATT Stadium, but that doesn't mean there isn't plenty of conversation to have. KD is joined by Keith Mullins and Joey Ickes and the team dissects the four leading camp battles that they expect to play out once the team relocates to Oxnard at the end of July.

There is no "replacing'' Dez Bryant. The Dallas Cowboys recognize that (even as the posturing continues, COO Stephen Jones countering Dez' own comments to our Mike Fisher about a regular-season boycott (read the exclusive here) by telling SiriusXM radio that there exists a "wide gap'' in negotiations.

But while there is no replacing Dez, right now at minicamp there is also "no Dez.'' So Terrance Williams jumped up into the X-receiver spot and performed well on Tuesday. Devin Street -- he of the "My job is to dominate'' quote to CHQ -- had a good day. UDFAs George Farmer and Lucky Whitehead are rookies in the mix ...

And there you have some competition.

These dot the roster, where CHQ has the exclusive on the Cowboys' consideration of running back Shonn Greene, just released by the Titans, even as they hope Joe Randle is the guy ... where the sudden load of pass-rusher gives Rod Marinelli so many toys ... where safety J.J. Wilcox is dealing with a foot problem right now and therefore missed Tuesday's workout ... where Rolando McClain showed up for the mandatory session, did some walkthough stuff and then headed to the weight room, telling Fish he feels "great'' but saying not much more.

These minicamp battles are about to be camp battles. Let's take you inside four of them in the Cowboys Crunchtime Podcast:
