All Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott Wants After '4'? 'More'

How good was Ezekiel Elliott in 2016? By one account, the star running back posted the fourth-greatest rookie season in NFL history. And what does the Dallas Cowboys stud want in 2017?

Not long after Zeke was taken fourth overall in the 2016 NFL Draft, he established himself as elite ... in part due to running behind the best offensive line in football. He blew away the competition to win the NFL rushing title, was tagged as Rookie of the Year and was an MVP finalist on a 13-win team.

Elliott finished with 1,631 yards rushing (team record), falling only 177 yards shy of Eric Dickerson's all-time rookie rushing record.

What does Pro Football Focus think of all this?

Now, there is no scouting system and there is no grading system that is without flaws. But this is undeniably a conversation that Elliott belongs in ... and now quite clearly he and Dallas would like to post a follow-up.

From owner Jerry Jones: “He’s got great hands. He's really problematic for defenses in the passing game, and certainly would (like to see him get more touches). Every time we can get him the ball, I feel good about it."

From Ezekiel Elliott himself: “I just want to work on being a more dominant, second-level runner,” Elliott said.  “I think a couple of times last year I could’ve been more elusive when I got to the second level. I just want to focus on altering my runs.”

More. Better. Perfect, for what's the right thing for guy to do after an all-time-great freshman season?

Have an all-time-great sophomore season.
