Opening Comments by Bill Parcells:
"I think it took us a little while to get going in that game. I felt like I may not have done a good job to get them ready to play. I'm not saying we weren't. In these kinds of situations, there are always 3 or 4 guys that can wind up getting you beat. Again, I thought we had trouble early."
"The defense played well early. We got a spark from Quincy and Terry Glenn there, and we started having some balance. The drive at the beginning of the second half was big for us. Those were some big plays. The special teams were all right. We were a little careless with the football, and that will get us beat in the big games. We are on the road again next week. Offensively, we are getting better. We hit some big plays for touchdowns."
On the play of Quincy Carter:
"Well he made one bad play in the 3rd quarter, where he kind of slung it out there, but other than that I thought he was real sharp today."
On the diversity of the Cowboys' offense
"When you have diversity in your firepower, it helps. We got some good running out of some guys today. Richie got out there and did some things for us. The more you can be unpredictable with what you are going to do, the better."
Ryan Young, stinger on his opening series of the 3rd quarter, but figures to be fine.
Flozell Adams tweaked his ankle and only missed on play and will be fine.
Troy Hambrick dislocated a finger on his left hand, but doctors popped the finger back into place and he should be fine.
