Coakley Headed to Hawaii

Dallas Cowboys LB Dexter Coakley has been named as a replacement for Derrick Brooks of Tampa Bay in the annual Pro Bowl, which will be played this Sunday afternoon in Hawaii.

This isn't the first time that Coakley has replaced Brooks. The same scenario occured just three years ago when Brooks missed the All-Star game due to an injury.

This is the 3rd trip to Hawaii for Coakley, who finished the 2003 regulars eason with 110 tackles.

Brooks will miss the game due to an illness in the family.

He will join four Dallas teammates in the showcase game. Flozell Adams (OT), La'Roi Glover (DT), Larry Allen (OG), and Roy Williams (FS) also made the NFC squad.

Kickoff is set for 6:30 PM (CST) on Sunday in Honolulu and the game will air on ESPN.
