Parcells: "I don't want to see you anymore"

CB Andrew Davison said Monday that his heart wasn't into going to practice Monday morning, so he stayed in his training camp hotel room.

Bill Parcells was more than happy to oblige.

Andrew Davison quit the Dallas Cowboys yesterday.

The final straw for the three year veteran appeared to be when he gave up another deep touchdown in Saturday's scrimmage.

"I felt I was just waiting around to get cut," said Davison.

Davison came to training camp with the expectations of competing for the startong cornerback spot vacated by former Cowboy Mario Edwards, who signed with Tampa Bay during the offseason.

After a string of setbacks, Davison decided that it wasn't in his best interest to stick around.

"Go get your [stuff]," Parcells told Davison in between practices. "I don't want to see you anymore."
