Cincinnati Report Card

A look back at Sunday's disaterous loss to the Bengals. <BR>

F -- The Cowboys couldn't muster a ground game against the league's worst run defense. Eddie George had eight carries for 23 yards.

F -- Quarterback Vinny Testaverde had his worst game, throwing three interceptions and losing a fumble. Keyshawn Johnson also lost a fumble. Receivers Randal Williams and Patrick Crayton had several drops.

D -- Cincinnati gained 116 yards on 31 carries. Running Rudi Johnson had 26 carries for 96 yards. He did most of damage late, rushing for 56 yards in the fourth quarter against a worn-down defense.

F -- The defense played tough early, allowing only a field goal following the plethora of offensive turnovers. However, it eventually wore down, giving up a 76-yard touchdown reception to tight end Matt Schobel. It was the sixth play of 50 yards or more the Cowboys have allowed this season. The Cowboys got no turnovers and did not sack the quarterback once.

D -- Mat McBriar had a solid day punting, averaging 48.0 yards on four kicks, with two inside the 20. However, Terence Copper let him down by not downing a punt inside the 5-yard line. The Cowboys also got nothing in the return game on kickoffs or punts.
