Henson 'Wines' After Loss

Eddie George is getting a little of the quarterback's money.

Thanks to Ohio State's upset victory over Michigan Saturday in Columbus, George -- an Ohio State graduate -- came out on the winning side of a friendly wager with Michigan product Drew Henson.

George wasn't talking about the prize on the line between the teammates with neighboring lockers when the Buckeyes and Wolverines squared off. But Henson showed he's a man of integrity who settles his bets.

Henson owes George a bottle of wine for the Bucckeyes' victory -- and not some $5 bottle of blush. George's tastes call for the Cowboys' rookie QB to scour the Dallas area for a 1997 bottle of Caymus Special Selection -- a cabernet sauvignon that runs about $180-200 per bottle.

Despite his rookie status that often invites a little more serious ribbing from teammates, Henson said George tempered his teasing of his young teammate.

"Eddie's been cool about it," Henson said. "He didn't talk to me before the (OSU/Michigan) game, but he sure talked to me after it."

Even though his former team came out on the short end of "The Game" Saturday, Henson still was able to get in one final dig at Michigan's biggest rivals.

"Hey, you have to give give Ohio State credit -- they won the game," Henson said. "But Michigan's still going to the Rose Bowl."
