Seahawks Report Card

A look back at Monday night's thriling win over the Seahawks. <BR>

PASSING OFFENSE: B -- Julius Jones opened up the passing game early for Vinny Testaverde. And despite two fourth-quarter interceptions, Testaverde came through with a 34-yard touchdown pass to Keyshawn Johnson. Johnson caught six passes for 116 yards.

RUSHING OFFENSE: A -- Julius Jones is the real deal. He rushed 30 times for 198 yards and three touchdowns. He became the first Cowboy to have back-to-back 100-yard games since Emmitt Smith did it in 2001.

PASS DEFENSE: F -- The pass defense remains a problem. Seattle quarterback Matt Hasselbeck threw for 414 yards and three touchdowns to nearly steal the game. Darrell Jackson caught nine passes for 113 and a touchdown. Jerry Rice caught eight passes for 145 yards and a touchdown.

RUSH DEFENSE: B -- The defense was solid against the run, limiting Shaun Alexander to 83 yards on 21 carries. Roy Williams got his first forced fumble of the season when he stripped Alexander in the third quarter, setting up a Cowboys touchdown.

SPECIAL TEAMS: A -- Never mind the 22-yard punt return given up to Maurice Morris, this was Billy Cundiff's night. Cundiff kicked three field goals, including a 49-yarder that kissed the upright before falling through. Cundiff also had a perfect onside kick. COACHING: B -- Forget that the Cowboys nearly gave the game away. They got a win they sorely needed, and they did it in miraculous fashion. This could be the impetus for something special -- like a playoff run. Only time will tell.
