Report Card vs. New Orleans

PASSING OFFENSE

RUSHING OFFENSE
C -- Julius Jones had 47 yards in the first quarter and 59 at halftime. The Saints slowed him down in the second half when they took away his cut back lanes. He finished with 88 yards after rushing for 348 the previous two games.

PASS DEFENSE

RUSH DEFENSE
C -- The Cowboys have not allowed a 100-yard rusher in seven games after holding Deuce McAllister to 83 yards on 30 carries. Dat Nguyen led the way with 11 tackles.

SPECIAL TEAMS
F -- The Cowboys had five penalties on specials teams in their first 12 games. They had five penalties on special teams against the Saints, putting the Cowboys in poor field position all game.

COACHING
C -- Maybe there's not much more Bill Parcells and his staff can do. Forget all the optimistic talk of a late season turnaround -- the Cowboys have been a bad team all year. They simply reverted to form against the Saints, all but ending their hopes of making the playoffs.
