Report Card vs. Philadelphia

Grades are handed down from Sunday's 12-7 loss. <BR>

PASSING OFFENSE
F -- With Julius Jones contained in the second half -- with just 20 yards after getting 60 in the first half -- the offense sputtered behind quarterback Vinny Testaverde. He passed for 176 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. The offense was also undone by penalties and a dropped pass (Quincy Morgan).

RUSHING OFFENSE
C -- Jones rushed for 80 yards on 25 carries. However, he got only 20 in the second half as the Eagles were able to stone the run late. He didn't get much help up front. Guard Andre Gurode was horrible.

PASS DEFENSE
B -- The defense created three turnovers -- interceptions by Terence Newman and Roy Williams and a sack and forced fumble by defensive end Greg Ellis. It also held Donovan McNabb in check for much of the day.

RUSH DEFENSE
C -- The Cowboys were good against the run, holding Brian Westbrook to 48 yards. Dorsey Levens rushed for 43. But it was McNabb who hurt them with his feet late, setting up the go ahead touchdown.

SPECIAL TEAMS
F -- Billy Cundiff's missed 46-yard field goal in the fourth quarter was the difference in the game. That is a kick he has to make. It more than offset Greg Ellis' blocked PAT.

COACHING
D -- So what that the Cowboys put forth a game effort against the Eagles? They didn't make enough plays at the end to win. And with nine losses, they are officially playing for next year.
