Top prospect for 2006 who already stated he will return to college next season.Santonio Holmes/WR/4/3So: Explosive receiver with a penchant for breaking the long one. Excellent deep speed and also possesses a lot of natural receiving skills.
Branden Joe/FB/38/5Sr: Hard working lead fullback also effective handling the ball. Used at the primary ball carrier this season for Ohio State.Mike Nugent/PK/85/4Sr: Big legged kicker very accurate on the field goals.
Lydell Ross/RB/30/4Sr: Highly touted to recruit that's shown flashes yet never pulled the pieces together or took his game to a higher level when the opportunity presented itself. Anthony Schlegel/ILB/51/4Jr: Tough, middle linebacker and a two down defender solid against the run.Rob Sims/T/77/3Jr: Athletic left tackle not talked about much outside scouting circles. Possesses a great amount of physical skill yet at the same time displays a good feel for the position. A lot of upside for the next level. Billy Bajema/TE/86/4Sr: Solid pass catching tight end that runs well for a player at his position. Effective running after the reception. Gives effort blocking but gets minimal results.
Cole Farden/P/18/4Sr: Dual threat kicker that booms his punts or kick loss. Also a good directional punter.Vernon Grant/S/20/3Jr: Solid zone cover safety aggressive defending the run. Tough and likes to fly around the ball.
Jon Holland/S/17/4Sr: Physical defensive back effective defending the run or covering the pass. Very active and displays a good sense of tapping on the field. Lacks the top size/speed numbers yet a solid football playerSam Mayes/G/76/5Sr: Underrated blocker with both power and explosion as well as the ability to dominate defenders. Not light on his feet and must condition himself better but potentially a good run blocker for the next level.
Vernand Morency/RB/33/4Jr: Explosive runner with terrific all around skills. Very productive as a starter this season. Over-aged prospect who played semi-pro baseball and has already stated he will return in 2005.Darrent Williams/CB/9/4Sr: Solid cornerback that consistently displays good cover skills. Had his season interrupted with injury and will not play in this game due to suspension.
Shawn Willis/FB/37/4Jr: Explosive lead blocker that opens holes for ball carriers or anchors at the point in pass protection. Tough in all aspects and a devastating fullback prospect.D'Juan Woods/WR/84/3So: Developing young receiver with good natural skills, just like his brother.
