The Cowboys began the long process of reshaping their team this offseason when they released offensive lineman Gennaro DiNapoli and defensive end Marcellus Wiley.
DiNapoli hadn't played since suffering a high ankle spain midway through the 2003 season.
After aggravating the injury during the following offseason, he began the 2004 season on the physically unable to perform list.
DiNapoli, orginally a 4th round pick out of Virginia Tech in the 1998 NFL Draft, spent three seasons with the Tennessee Titans before arriving in Valley Ranch.
