Cowboys Also Cut DiNapoli

DiNapoli is one of two players who were released by the Cowboys today.

The Cowboys began the long process of reshaping their team this offseason when they released offensive lineman Gennaro DiNapoli and defensive end Marcellus Wiley.

DiNapoli hadn't played since suffering a high ankle spain midway through the 2003 season. After aggravating the injury during the following offseason, he began the 2004 season on the physically unable to perform list.

DiNapoli, orginally a 4th round pick out of Virginia Tech in the 1998 NFL Draft, spent three seasons with the Tennessee Titans before arriving in Valley Ranch.
