With rumors running rampant this weekend regarding the Dallas Cowboys and their free agent agenda, one of the most popular ones must be addressed.
As of Sunday morning, the Cowboys have yet to hold discussions with free agent wide receiver Plaxico Burress.
In fact, most outlets have reported that Burress has a good chance of signing with the Minnesota Vikings. Scout.com reported last week that his agent had been in contact with the both the Vikings and the New York Giants.
In addition, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said late last week that the organization would be looking for "opportunities" in the coming weeks when discussing free agency.
He also suggested that the team may be done with some its bigger offseason signings.
"We want to continue to look at the opportunities," Jones said Thursday. "'Plan' is probably not the right word, but we still will look for opportunities."
As of Sunday morning, Plaxico Burress is not in the mix for the Dallas Cowboys.
