TheRanchReport.com has learned that Issa Banna, a bruising fullback prospect out of Northwestern State, will hold a private workout for the Dallas Cowboys on April 8.

Banna was moved to fullback from the offensive line in 2003.

At his recent Pro Day, Banna (5-11, 234) ran the 40-yard dash in 4.95 seconds. He also ran the short shuttle in 4.39 seconds, and the three-cone drill in 7.38.

Banna worked out for 10 teams during Northwestern State's Pro Day on March 18.
Banna also recorded a 34.5-inch vertical jump.

The former Northwestern State player saw action in nine games last season, rushing seven times for 33 yards and one touchdown. He also caught 10 passes for 63 yards and another score.

Banna also was a standout performer in track and field. He became the first competitor in Southland Conference history to win the men's shot put for three straight years.

The Cowboys are believed to be looking at Banna as a possible undrafted free agent.
