Second round draft pick LB Kevin Burnett will miss the Cowboys' upcoming mini-camp after arriving in Valley Ranch on Monday on crutches.
Burnett underwent minor hip surgery last week and has already started rehab.
He is expected to miss the upcoming mini-camp, but should be ready for training camp at the end of July.
In all, he expected to miss most of the next month as he completes his rehab at Valley Ranch.
The Cowboys will also be without the services of fourth round pick Chris Canty next week. Canty underwent a LASIK eye procedure Tuesday.
