One-on-One with Demarcus Ware cuaght up with Demarcus Ware on Saturday to get his thoughts on the first two days of mini-camp.

What's the pressure like on you being the Cowboys' first draft pick?
Ware: There's always pressure. I mean, right now, you come in and you don't really know anyone or the system. So there's a little bit of anxiety when you come in. You just have to get used to it.

What has it been like for you coming in as a rookie to be around a coach like Bill Parcells?
Ware: Actually he's a really nice guy. He tells you what to do and then he expects you to out there and get the job done. If you don't do it, he's going to let you know you didn't do it. To me the main thing is to do what he tells you to do and you'll be fine.

Do you expect him to ride you a little more because you were the top pick for the Cowboys in the draft?
Ware: He's going to ride everybody the same. That's one thing I really like about him. He's going to tell you when you aren't doing something right.

Are you excited to have so many other young guys who have been successful playing with you?
Ware: Actually that does make it a lot easier. You know I've known Marcus Spears since the Senior Bowl. I've known Kevin Burnett since the Senior Bowl. I knew Thomas Johnson already because he was from Middle Tennessee. So there was a lot of guys I knew already before I came here and that definitely helps ease the transition. It's helped out a lot.

What's your take on the 3-4?
Ware: I think they are still going to do both, the 3-4 and the 4-3. Realistically, probably both are going to be integrated in throughout the season.

What do you think you need to work on the most to get your game up to NFL standards?
Ware: Just seeing hte game. Being in college, you get used to that college tempo. All of that is up a notch here though. You've got to get used to that and adjust to it. It's faster, it's really faster than college.

Is there any veteran that you've kind of leaned on through the early stages of camp?
Ware: Yeah, guys like Dat Nguyen and Singleton have helped me a lot. Glover and Ellis: they've really helped me get more comfortable too. There's been a lot of different guys helping me out.
