It's official: the Dallas Cowboys have traded reserve cornerback Pete Hunter to the New York Jets for a conditional draft pick.
The pick is believed to be a seventh rounder.
Hunter flew to New York yesterday and passed a physical before the trade went through.
Hunter, who was rumored to be leaving Dallas via a trade earlier this year, has been disgruntled since early March when the team decided to sign veteran free agent cornerback Anthony Henry.
Henry is the projected starter, ahead of Hunter entering training camp. Hunter was also unhappy with a proposed part-time move to free safety.
