Arrington to Dallas Rumors Addressed

Are the Cowboys interested in former Redskins LB LaVar Arrington?

With several rumors running rampant on the Internet this weekend regarding the Dallas Cowboys and their remaining free agent agenda, one of the most popular ones must be addressed.

As of Sunday morning, the Cowboys have yet to hold any discussions with free agent linebacker LaVar Arrington.

Arrington was first rumored to Dallas after becoming a free agent last month, however he quickly put an end to that speculation after publicly saying he would be interested in playing for Philadelphia and the New York Giants, not the Cowboys.

Furthermore, Arrington has already visited the Dolphins and Giants and has no trip scheduled to Dallas. TheRanchReport.com has learned that the Miami Dolphins appear to be the front-runner for his services.

Knee injuries have prevented Arrington from becoming the type of impact player many thought he would be coming out of Penn State. Last year, he recorded just 47 total tackles and no sacks in 13 games. In 2004, he played in just four games, recording 15 total tackles and one sack.

As of Sunday morning, LaVar Arrington is not in the mix for the Dallas Cowboys.
