Cowboys Make Roster Moves

The Dallas Cowboys made seven roster moves to reach the 65-player roster limit plus NFL Europe exemptions on Tuesday. The most well known player released was defensive end Byron Frisch, who spent most of last season with Dallas.

Also released were wide receiver DeVeren Johnson, a sixth-round pick in this year's draft from Sacred Heart, and linebacker Khary Campbell, a rookie free agent from Bowling Green.

Offensive lineman Dan Collins and fullback Scott Zimmerman were released injured and will revert to injured reserve if they clear waivers this week.

Rookie fullback Jamar Martin and newly acquired tight end Jeff Robinson were also placed on injured reserve. Martin tore his anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee back on July 29th and Robinson also will miss the regular season with the exact same injury.
