'Boys Set to Make Early Noise in Free Agency

With free agency set to begin in just a few hours, TheRanchReport.com brings you the latest on one of the biggest names that will be available. What two teams will Dallas have to outsmart to land this potential Pro Bowler? Read on to find out!

Updating a previous story from TheRanchReport.com earlier this week, league sources have indicated the three teams that are likely to show the most interest in Arizona Cardinals left tackle Leonard Davis once free agency starts later this evening.

Those teams are the Dallas Cowboys, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the San Francisco 49ers.

What makes Davis such an attractive free agent prospect is that he can play left tackle or guard.

Also, Davis is said to be leaning toward playing for a team that has the best chance to win plus he would like to play in warm weather if possible.

Sources close to Davis have told TheRanchReport.com that he is "very interested" in playing for the Cowboys. In fact, his agent, Ryan Tollner, spent the weekend in Indianapolis at the NFL Combine, where he interacted with representatives from several different teams.

Dallas was one of those teams, league sources said.

The Cowboys continue to have needs on the offensive line entering the 2007 season and are expected to make a run at several free agents.
