Cowboys Interested in Another OL

TheRanchReport.com brings you another draft prospect the Dallas Cowboys have shown significant interest in for the 2007 NFL Draft.

Continuing to look at improving their offensive line, the Dallas Cowboys have shown significant interest in center Samson Satele, TheRanchReport.com has learned.

Steele, who is currently ranked as the No. 1 center available in the draft by Scout.com, could also play guard at the NFL level.

The Cowboys were one of a handful of teams to schedule a private interview with Steele at the NFL Combine in February.

Other teams that have shown interest in Steele include Baltimore, Denver, Arizona, Washington and Kansas City.

The Cowboys recently signed Pro Bowl center Andre Gurode to a six-year deal, but Dallas also lost its back up center Al Johnson to the Arizona Cardinals in free agency.

Samson was a four-year starter at Hawaii who was awarded All-Conference honors since his freshman campaign. He moved to center as a senior after playing guard the prior three years.
