Rookie Jacoby Jones scored two touchdowns, including one on a 91-yard punt return, to lead the Houston Texans to a 28-16 preseason victory over the Dallas Cowboys Saturday night.
Jones also caught a 19-yard scoring pass from Matt Schaub 32
seconds before halftime to give Houston a 21-6 lead.

Houston improved to 2-1.
"I didn't see many good things on our part tonight," Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips said. "As a team, special teams, offense, defense ... we didn't play well. We've got a lot of work to do. This is the first time we've been in a hostile environment and we didn't react well."
Jones' punt return came with 13:01 left in the first quarter and
produced the game's first score. A third-round draft pick from
Lane College, Jones returned a punt 80 yards for a touchdown

drive, highlighted by Ahman Green's 46-yard run for a 14-0 lead.
Schaub completed 12-of-16 passes for 109 yards and two
touchdowns. He was sacked once.
Dallas got on the scoreboard when Tony Romo threw a 35-yard
touchdown pass to Terrell Owens in the second quarter, but
Martin Gramatica's PAT was wide right, leaving Houston with a
"It was a situation where you play catch," Owens said about the score. "The play came open and Tony delivered the ball. And he let me do the rest."
Romo pulled Dallas within 21-13 with an 18-yard touchdown pass
to tight end Jason Witten in the third quarter.
Romo completed 14-of-22 passes for 197 yards, two touchdowns and
Cowboys rookie Nick Folk kicked a 23-yard field goal in the
fourth quarter for a 21-16 score.
The Texans' last score came on a 17-yard pass from Sage Rosenfels to David Anderson with 2:57 to play.
