The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to terms with Georgia Tech linebacker/defensive end Darrell Robertson (6-3,255), TheRanchReport.com has learned.
TheRnachReport.com had Robertson pegged as the No. 9 defensive end prospect available in the 2008 NFL Draft.
He is the second player from Georgia Tech that will join the Cowboys this offseason. Dallas also picked up Yellow Jackets' running back Tashard Choice in the fourth round of the draft earlier Sunday.
QUICK SCOUTING REPORT: A very good athlete who played on his feet and covered a great deal of range. I liked his leverage and use of hands when meeting blocks. Good feet and balance (plays with bent knees). Got moved around by big people but didn't stay blocked. As a pass rusher, showed good initial get off and really came hard from the outside (gains ground). Does not convery speed to power at this time, but with maturity should develop. Has strong third to fourth round draft potential.
