'Boys Agree with Safety

The Dallas Cowboys have agreed with at least five undrafted free agents as of early Monday morning.

The Dallas Cowboys have agreed with Syracuse strong safety Dowayne Davis (5-11,194), TheRanchReport.com has confirmed.

Davis was ranked as a cornerback in TheRanchReport.com's draft rankings, coming in at No. 22 on our list.

QUICK SCOUTING REPORT: Tweener. Smart and experienced. Has played both safety and corner. Good work ethic, impressive physical skills, can fly, but has limitations. A straight line guy, who had problems with direction change. Cover two corner potential. Has the size and speed you want outside, but the lack of COD concerns me. Long strider. More of a hitter then he was a wrap up tackler. Good teams potential. Late round (6-7) draft potential.
