Hamlin, who signed with the team in the 2007 offseason, finished his first year in Dallas with career numbers.
He had his first 100-plus tackle season finishing with 102 stops - good for third on the team - and finished second on the team with five interceptions. Hamlin started all 16 games and the team's Divisional Playoff Game in 2007 on his way to being selected to the first Pro Bowl of his career.
Hamlin was originally drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round (42nd overall) of the 2003 NFL Draft and played his first four years with the Seahawks.
He started 52 of the 54 regular season games he played in, recording 297 tackles, four sacks, 32 pass breakups, eight interceptions and four forced fumbles.
