ACC CB sets Dallas visit

Another top-flight defender has set a visit with the Dallas Cowboys.

Florida State cornerback Tony Carter has set a visit with the Dallas Cowboys for April 13, has learned.

Carter, who is ranked as the No. 32 cornerback available in this year's draft by, has also confirmed visits with the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New England Patriots.

Carter started 33 consecutive games to end his Florida State career while earning second team All-ACC honors during his senior year.

He was the Seminoles' 11th leading tackler and led all FSU cornerbacks with 25 stops, while also leading the 'Noles with two interceptions - both in a win over arch rival Miami.

The Cowboys are in need of help at cornerback after trading starter Anthony Henry to Detroit for backup quarterback Jon Kitna two months ago.

Dallas will likely use a late-round pick to fill the need as last year's first round pick, Mike Jenkins, figures to step into Henry's role.
