Looking for additional help in the interior defensive line, the Dallas Cowboys have worked out Oregon defensive tackle Ra'Shon Harris (6-4, 298), TheRanchReport.com has learned.
A supremely athletic lineman, Harris was recently clocked at 4.88 seconds in the 40-yard dash at Oregon's Pro Day.
Harris stepped up his game as a first-year starter in a big way in 2008, recording 47 tackles, nine tackles for loss and three sacks.
With Tank Johnson moving on this offseason, the Cowboys would like to add help to first-time Pro Bowler Jay Ratliff.
While Harris doesn't necessarily possess the size you'd like to see in a 3-4 nose tackle, he would be an intriguing late-round or free agent acquisition.
He is currently ranked as the No. 21 overall defensive tackle in the country according to Scout.com.
