'Boys agree with Pac 10 QB

The Dallas Cowboys will have another rookie quarterback on their roster when this weekend's mini-camp beings.

The Dallas Cowboys have agreed with former Arizona State signal caller Rudy Carpenter, TheRanchReport.com has confirmed.

Carpenter was the No. 17 quarterback available in this year's draft according to Scout.com.

As a senior, he completed 213-of-351 passes for 2,493 yards and 16 touchdowns, along with nine interceptions.

Carpenter is one of two quarterbacks acquired by the Cowboys in the last three days. Dallas also drafted Texas A&M quarterback Stephen McGee in the fourth round of the draft.
