NOTES: Cowboys beat 'Skins

Anthony Spencer intercepted his first career pass today.

* Saturday's win marked only the second time in team regular season history Dallas won a game with seven-or-less points. The first was a 6-2 win at Cleveland (12/12/70).

* The Cowboys scored seven points in each of the last two games – the first time Dallas has had back-to-back games with seven-or-less points since 2002 (12/15 and 12/21 – both losses). Dallas was also held to seven-or-less points in consecutive games one month earlier (11/3 and 11/17 – both losses).

* The Dallas defense did not allow a touchdown in the game today – the first time an opponent has not scored a touchdown since the Cowboys 20-8 win against the N.Y. Giants (12/14/08).

* The Cowboys amassed 305 yards of total offense today to give them 3,819 through the first 10 games of the season – the fifth-most in team history through 10 games.

* Keith Brooking notched his fourth sack of the season today to establish a single-season career high sack total.

* Doug Free made his first career start today. He replaced Marc Colombo (ankle, leg) at right tackle.

* Anthony Spencer intercepted his first career pass today. It came in the fourth quarter to give Dallas possession and run out the majority of the clock to preserve the win.

* Jason Witten's five catches today upped his career total to 483 and allowed him to pass Jackie Smith (480) for eighth in league history among tight ends.

* Jason Witten caught five passes in today's game to give him 483 for his career and pass Tony Hill (479) for fourth in receptions in club history. He trails Emmitt Smith (486), Drew Pearson (489) and Michael Irvin (750).
